Role Overview: Secondary ICT Teacher
KIS seeks a qualified Secondary ICT Teacher to deliver engaging, skills-based instruction in computer science and digital literacy. The ideal candidate will integrate technology across the curriculum and inspire students to explore problem-solving, programming, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach ICT courses at the middle and high school levels
- Develop project-based lessons that promote computational thinking and creativity
- Equip students with coding, software, and digital literacy skills
- Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Collaborate with faculty on tech-driven interdisciplinary projects
- Support the school’s digital learning strategy and innovation goals
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in international or AP/IB programs
- Strong content knowledge and classroom management skills
- Proficient in integrating technology into teaching practices
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
