Originally known as Kolej Methodist Sentul Campus, WMSKL evolved following a 1976 initiative by the Methodist Church in Malaysia. Role: Secondary ICT Teacher

As an ICT Teacher at WMSKL, you will teach students aged 11 to 17 using the IGCSE ICT curriculum. You will lead engaging and practical lessons that help students develop essential digital skills and critical thinking. The ideal candidate brings creativity, technical expertise, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Cambridge IGCSE ICT curriculum
• Integrate digital tools and platforms to enhance student learning
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Foster an inclusive classroom where all students feel supported and motivated
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-disciplinary initiatives and digital literacy across the curriculum
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school leadership
• Participate in ongoing training and contribute to curriculum development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching the IGCSE ICT curriculum
• Proficiency in using digital technologies and platforms in the classroom
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• A proactive approach to teaching and curriculum development
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
