Position: Secondary ICT Teacher

As a Secondary ICT Teacher, you will empower students to understand core computer science concepts while guiding them through the practical use of digital tools. You will teach ICT at the lower and upper secondary levels, including Cambridge IGCSE, and contribute to a future-focused curriculum that prepares students for global challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ICT lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, including IGCSE coursework
• Integrate topics such as algorithms, programming, cybersecurity, and data handling
• Use modern educational technology to enhance classroom engagement
• Design hands-on projects that promote computational thinking and collaboration
• Support co-curricular tech initiatives such as robotics, coding clubs, or digital portfolios
• Contribute to curriculum development and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant classroom teaching experience
• Familiarity with the Cambridge ICT or Computer Science curriculum preferred
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, HTML/CSS)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• High level of spoken and written English proficiency
• Enthusiasm for innovation and global education
