Position Overview: Secondary Lead Teacher
The Secondary Lead Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum. You will inspire students in upper grade levels by fostering curiosity, supporting personal growth, and guiding them through critical developmental stages. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students is essential in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject area
- Teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in a secondary teaching role
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with international education practices
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement strategies
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital tools into instruction
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to school-wide initiatives
