Role Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
The ideal candidate will deliver engaging mathematics instruction across key secondary grade levels, promoting problem-solving, numerical fluency, and analytical thinking. You will play a key role in developing students’ confidence and ability to approach real-world challenges through mathematical reasoning.
Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics following international and bilingual curriculum frameworks
- Develop lesson plans that align with academic goals and student needs
- Support students in preparing for external examinations (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level)
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve cross-disciplinary instruction
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and community events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with international curricula and assessment methods
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English communication (spoken and written)
- Enthusiasm for teaching in an international school environment
- Ability to integrate technology into mathematics instruction effectively
