Position Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
We seek a passionate Mathematics Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for the IGCSE Mathematics examinations. You will design engaging lessons, foster a love for problem-solving, and support students in developing strong numeracy and analytical skills. Our ideal candidate is student-focused, collaborative, and driven to continuously improve teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of experience teaching secondary-level Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and IGCSE Maths
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to integrate technology into instruction
- Eagerness to contribute to curriculum enrichment and extracurricular activities
- Capacity to build meaningful relationships within a diverse school community
