Role Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher (IGCSE, A-Level)
The Secondary Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that follow the Cambridge International Curriculum. This role requires a passion for mathematics, a commitment to student growth, and the ability to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
You will design lessons, assess student progress, and work closely with other educators to support cross-curricular goals. Active participation in school activities and continuous improvement of teaching methods are also expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in using educational technologies
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about teaching
- High level of English fluency in both speaking and writing
