Role Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will teach mathematics to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, with possible extension to A-Level classes. You will design lessons that promote problem-solving, logical thinking, and real-world application of mathematical concepts. Your instruction will align with the Cambridge curriculum and encourage students to develop confidence and competence in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated mathematics lessons aligned with IGCSE and A-Level standards
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs
• Assess student performance through formative and summative assessments
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents to enhance learning outcomes
• Integrate educational technology and hands-on activities to enrich instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives
• Contribute to co-curricular programs and math-related academic competitions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
• Familiarity with IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics preferred
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Passion for working in a multicultural international school setting
