Role: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will lead engaging lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum. You will help students build a solid foundation in mathematics and promote analytical problem-solving in both theoretical and applied contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics to lower and upper secondary students using the Cambridge IGCSE framework
- Design and implement differentiated lesson plans to meet diverse student needs
- Encourage independent thinking and mathematical reasoning
- Use assessments to monitor progress and guide instruction
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum design and interdisciplinary planning
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student performance
- Integrate digital tools to support and enhance learning outcomes
- Participate in school events, clubs, and enrichment programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary level
- Strong command of the Cambridge curriculum or other international standards
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
