Role: Secondary Mathematics Teacher

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons to secondary students, focusing on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Teaching all aspects of the Mathematics curriculum for secondary education, including preparation for GCSE and IGCSE exams
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback to support improvement
• Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to excel
• Actively participating in school-wide initiatives and contributing to the co-curricular life of the school
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and continually improve the Mathematics curriculum

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years’ experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level
• Strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum for secondary education, with experience teaching GCSE and IGCSE
• Familiarity with AQA, Edexcel, or CAIE examination boards is a plus
• Proven ability to engage and inspire students, with strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
• Highly proficient in both written and spoken English
