Role Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
In this role, you will teach Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics to secondary-level students. You will create lesson plans that engage students through hands-on activities and real-world applications of mathematical concepts. You will also assess progress regularly and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards across the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching Mathematics at the secondary level
- Strong understanding of the IGCSE Mathematics curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to integrate digital tools into instruction
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular programs and school-wide initiatives
