Role Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
We are seeking a passionate Math teacher who excels in teaching secondary-level students and understands the rigor of the Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics curriculum. The ideal candidate demonstrates creativity in lesson planning, maintains strong classroom management, and embraces a learner-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons based on the IGCSE framework
- Develop lesson plans that promote inquiry, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Participate in school-wide curriculum development and professional learning
- Support extracurricular activities and student enrichment programs
- Use digital tools to enhance the learning experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar role
- Proven knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics curriculum
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
