Role Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality instruction in middle and high school math courses, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and pre-calculus. Your role will involve encouraging analytical thinking, developing problem-solving skills, and helping students build mathematical confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging math lessons aligned with the American curriculum
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of tools
- Promote mathematical thinking through inquiry-based strategies
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary planning
- Support students’ academic and personal development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- Minimum of two years of math teaching experience at the secondary level
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for working in a multicultural and inclusive school environment
- Dedication to continuous professional learning and curriculum development
