Position Overview: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
We are looking for a skilled Mathematics teacher to deliver engaging instruction across Key Stage 3 and IGCSE levels, with potential opportunities to teach A-Level courses. The ideal candidate will create a classroom culture that fosters problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and real-world application of mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics following the UK National Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE standards
- Design and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans
- Use assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction
- Foster a growth mindset and academic resilience in students
- Incorporate educational technology to enhance learning
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects
- Participate in school-wide events, clubs, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Deep knowledge of the UK curriculum and Cambridge assessment system
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous growth
