Role Overview: Secondary Maths Teacher
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will teach mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will use the British curriculum to design lessons that challenge learners while making maths relevant and accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Teach topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and advanced functions
- Use varied assessment methods to monitor and support student progress
- Create a positive, inquiry-based learning environment
- Integrate educational technology to enhance learning experiences
- Participate in school activities, clubs, and interdisciplinary projects
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or Education
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a British curriculum setting
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Passion for nurturing student growth in an international context
- Proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and curriculum development
