Role: Secondary Music Teacher

As a Secondary Music Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons that develop students’ creativity, performance skills, and theoretical understanding. You will teach across the secondary school levels, including IGCSE and IBDP, and will play an active role in the school’s performing arts programs. Collaborating with colleagues, you will contribute to curriculum planning, school events, and co-curricular music initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or a closely related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Music at the secondary level, including IGCSE and IBDP
• Strong knowledge of music theory, performance, and digital music tools
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Passion for teaching in a multicultural, international school environment
• Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to professional development
• Ability to integrate technology into music education effectively
• Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for school-wide activities and events
