Role Overview: Secondary Physical Education Teacher
The school seeks a dynamic Physical Education (PE) teacher to lead health and fitness programs for secondary students. The successful candidate will deliver a well-rounded PE curriculum, promote lifelong fitness habits, and encourage sportsmanship and teamwork in every class.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach PE and health education to secondary school students
- Design engaging and inclusive lesson plans focused on physical development and wellness
- Organize team sports, intramurals, and fitness challenges
- Model healthy habits and support student growth on and off the field
- Supervise and coach extracurricular sports teams and school events
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff
- Create a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of experience teaching PE, ideally in an international school
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in English communication
