Role: Secondary Physical Education Teacher
As the Secondary PE Teacher, you will design and deliver a broad and inclusive physical education program for students in lower and upper secondary school. You will teach a variety of sports, fitness, and health education units that encourage student engagement and promote lifelong wellness. You will also play a key role in organizing interschool events, sports days, and extracurricular athletic programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Monitor student progress and provide individualized feedback
- Foster an inclusive classroom that supports diverse learning needs
- Promote physical well-being, teamwork, and school spirit through extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate physical education with other subjects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching PE at the secondary level
- Strong understanding of British or international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds
- Willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives and events
