Role Overview: Secondary Physics Teacher
As a Secondary Physics Teacher, you will teach foundational and advanced physics concepts, help students explore real-world scientific applications, and inspire curiosity in STEM disciplines. Your expertise will support learners in preparing for international qualifications and future studies in science and engineering fields.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging physics lessons aligned with international and bilingual curricula
- Design interactive experiments and promote scientific inquiry in the classroom
- Prepare students for standardized exams, such as IGCSE and A-Level Physics
- Foster academic curiosity and guide students in applying physics to everyday life
- Collaborate with science department faculty to enhance curriculum delivery
- Participate in extracurricular science initiatives and school-wide events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching physics at the secondary level
- Familiarity with international curricula (IGCSE, A-Level, or similar)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
