Role Overview: Secondary Physics Teacher (A/AS Level)
The Secondary Physics Teacher will deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons aligned with the A/AS Level curriculum. This role involves creating stimulating lesson plans, conducting practical experiments, and assessing student progress. The ideal candidate will foster a love of physics, encourage inquiry, and support students in achieving academic excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience in Physics at the secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic about working in a diverse, international school environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to curriculum enrichment and school initiatives
- Skilled in using technology to enhance teaching and student learning
- Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
