Role Overview
The Secondary Physics Teacher will teach physics across middle and high school levels, following Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level standards. The teacher will design innovative lessons, guide students in scientific inquiry, and help them build analytical and problem-solving skills essential for future success.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to secondary students at IGCSE and A-Level
- Develop engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments with structured support
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and school initiatives
- Integrate technology into classroom instruction to improve learning outcomes
- Support extracurricular activities, science fairs, or student projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge or other international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, innovative, and committed to professional growth
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
