Role Overview: Secondary Physics Teacher
The successful candidate will teach IGCSE Physics and support the science department’s commitment to academic excellence. The role involves lesson planning, student assessments, lab supervision, and the integration of innovative teaching strategies. Candidates should bring a deep understanding of physics concepts and a passion for helping students explore the subject through hands-on inquiry and real-world application.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of relevant teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE Physics syllabus
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Technologically adept and open to using digital tools in the classroom
- Motivated, collaborative, and aligned with Christian education values
- Able to engage with parents, colleagues, and students professionally
