About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 students. The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Teach IGCSE and A-Level Physics with a clear focus on learning outcomes
- Incorporate practical experiments and inquiry-based learning into instruction
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress regularly
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues in the science department on curriculum development and enrichment activities
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related field
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the British curriculum and IGCSE/A-Level Physics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural international school setting
- Ability to integrate technology to support and enhance teaching
