Role Overview

The Secondary Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching science to middle and high school students, supporting them in building strong subject knowledge and scientific inquiry skills. The role requires creativity, adaptability, and the ability to engage students in practical and theoretical learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging science lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
• Support students in preparing for IGCSE and A Level examinations
• Develop innovative teaching strategies to spark curiosity and scientific thinking
• Incorporate technology and hands-on experiments into daily teaching
• Provide academic guidance and individualized support where needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s STEM program and extracurricular activities
• Foster an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages participation and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in science at the secondary level
• Familiarity with international curricula, preferably Cambridge IGCSE and A Levels
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Commitment to professional growth, innovation, and teamwork
• Ability to engage positively with students, parents, and colleagues in a multicultural environment
