Role: Secondary Science Teacher
We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher with experience teaching the IGCSE Science curriculum. This role requires a dynamic educator who can deliver engaging and practical science lessons that nurture curiosity and analytical thinking in secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus
- Design practical experiments and hands-on learning experiences to reinforce key scientific concepts
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback that supports improvement
- Use educational technologies to enhance instruction and foster interactive learning
- Collaborate with other faculty members to promote cross-disciplinary learning
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate actively in professional development and school-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level
- Strong understanding of the IGCSE Science curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
- Enthusiastic, self-driven, and proactive in curriculum enrichment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse international school environment
