Role Overview: Secondary Science Teacher
As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the British curriculum. You will help students explore biology, chemistry, and physics concepts through hands-on activities, inquiry-based learning, and real-world applications. The ideal candidate brings subject expertise, creativity, and a passion for education in an international context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach General Science to Key Stage 3 and your specialization at Key Stage 4
- Design lessons that foster scientific curiosity and critical thinking
- Integrate digital tools to enhance practical and theoretical learning
- Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments
- Contribute to school events, science fairs, and interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in the British curriculum
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Passion for student-centered and inquiry-driven education
