Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons aligned with the Cambridge/British Curriculum.
• Maintain meticulous records of lesson plans, assessments, and interventions.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports students with diverse learning needs and behavioral challenges.
• Uphold continuity across the phases of the curriculum and collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions.
• Manage the classroom effectively to promote a conducive learning environment.
• Actively participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Support and uphold the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Knowledge:

• Up-to-date understanding of the Cambridge/British Curriculum.
• Strong grasp of effective classroom management strategies.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching science in a secondary school.
• Proven success in teaching or successful teaching placements.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Science-related field.
• Qualified teaching status with attested/apostilled certifications from the country of qualification.
• Evidence of active engagement in continuing professional development (CPD).
