Role Overview: Secondary Science Teacher

As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inquiry-based science lessons to students at the middle and high school levels. You will foster curiosity and analytical thinking, helping students make meaningful connections between science and the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach general science and subject-specific courses (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics) following Cambridge or IB frameworks
• Design interactive, student-centered lessons that promote inquiry and scientific exploration
• Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and improve student learning outcomes
• Integrate technology and lab-based activities into science instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and share best teaching practices
• Maintain open communication with parents, students, and staff to support academic success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related discipline
• Valid teaching license or international certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary level
• Strong command of scientific concepts and teaching methodologies
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Familiarity with international curricula (Cambridge or IB) preferred
