Role Overview: Secondary Science Teacher
In this role, you will teach secondary-level science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science, depending on your expertise). You will create interactive lessons that promote curiosity, analytical thinking, and scientific exploration. As part of our diverse team, you will contribute to an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
- Prepare students for IGCSE and A-level science examinations
- Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
- Incorporate hands-on experiments and digital tools to enhance learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units
- Maintain strong communication with parents and staff
- Support school-wide initiatives and extracurricular programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Education (with specialization in a science subject)
- Valid teaching license or certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary science
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum (preferred)
- Proficient in English, with excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A team player who thrives in a multicultural environment
