Role Overview: Secondary Science Teacher
As the Secondary Science Teacher, you will teach science subjects aligned with U.S. curriculum standards. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that integrate real-world applications and hands-on experiments, helping students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The role involves working closely with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences and promote STEM education across the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at the secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the U.S. curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and instructional delivery skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Experience working in an international or multicultural school setting is an advantage
- Tech-savvy and confident using digital tools to enhance student learning
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to school initiatives
