Role Overview: Secondary STEM Teacher
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. You will encourage inquiry-based learning and problem-solving while equipping students with the critical thinking and digital skills essential for future careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach STEM subjects to middle and high school students
- Design hands-on, project-based learning experiences
- Align lessons with international STEM standards and benchmarks
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives
- Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments
- Use educational technology to enhance teaching and engagement
- Support extracurricular STEM activities and school events
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM-related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in STEM or related areas
- Familiarity with international or bilingual school curricula
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Passionate about student-centered learning and innovation
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Confident using modern technology in the classroom
