Role Overview: Secondary Teacher (Native English Speaker)

The Secondary Teacher will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education across the secondary curriculum. You will design and implement engaging lessons that challenge students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. This role requires strong classroom management to create a positive learning atmosphere and close collaboration with colleagues and parents to support student progress and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Singapore-UK curriculum for secondary students
• Manage classroom behavior and foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment
• Assess student performance regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support academic and personal growth
• Incorporate technology and digital tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
• Participate in school initiatives, curriculum development, and ongoing professional development
• Support the school’s multicultural ethos and promote values of respect, integrity, and collaboration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject area or education
• Valid teaching license or certification such as QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary level or similar role
• Native-level fluency in spoken and written English
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to continuous professional growth
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff in a diverse international setting
