Crown American Private School is looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher to join our team in Dubai. Role: SEN Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Use differentiated instruction strategies to support students with learning disabilities, speech and language challenges, and behavioral needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom where students feel supported and encouraged.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students receive the necessary interventions and accommodations.
- Monitor student progress through assessments, observations, and feedback to refine learning plans.
- Use assistive technology and specialized resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Participate in professional development workshops and SEN-related training.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in a Dubai school (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of special education strategies, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to collaboration, student engagement, and continuous professional development.
