Inclusion Teacher Role

As an Inclusion Teacher at GFS, you will:

• Develop and implement tailored learning plans to support students with special educational needs.
• Monitor student progress, identifying areas that require additional intervention and providing targeted support.
• Collaborate with teachers, department heads, and senior leaders to deliver cohesive educational strategies.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and positive behavior.
• Work closely with parents, guardians, and external specialists to ensure effective support for students.
• Contribute to the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet each student’s unique needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as an Inclusion Teacher at GFS, you should have:

• A recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent degree.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• A valid teaching certification or licensure in Special Education or a relevant area.
• Proven experience working with students with disabilities or learning differences in an inclusive setting.
• Expertise in inclusive teaching strategies, special education laws, and best practices.
• Strong collaboration skills to engage with students, parents, teachers, and external support providers.
• The ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Experience using assistive technology and specialized learning tools to enhance student outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage IEP documentation, progress tracking, and deadlines.
