Role: Senior English Teacher
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Senior English Teacher to lead upper primary and secondary classes. The ideal candidate will bring deep subject knowledge, proven instructional strategies, and a genuine commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons
- Prepare students for ICSE and IGCSE examinations
- Incorporate differentiated instruction and active learning methods
- Encourage analytical thinking, writing skills, and effective communication
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level
- Experience with ICSE or IGCSE curriculum preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
- Motivated, innovative, and committed to continuous professional growth
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse school community
