Role: Senior Mathematics Teacher
As a Senior Mathematics Teacher, you will guide students in mastering key mathematical concepts while fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will design effective lesson plans, deliver engaging instruction, and prepare students for academic success in ICSE and IGCSE examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach advanced mathematics topics across relevant grade levels
- Plan, prepare, and deliver structured lessons aligned with ICSE/IGCSE standards
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to support learning outcomes
- Encourage active participation and inquiry-based learning
- Collaborate with peers to enhance curriculum delivery and student support
- Integrate educational technology to improve learning experiences
- Maintain open communication with students and parents to ensure academic growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics, preferably within an international curriculum
- Prior experience teaching ICSE or IGCSE is highly desirable
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Motivated, self-directed, and innovative in instructional planning
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and engage with students from diverse backgrounds
