Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach Social Studies across appropriate grade levels, using an inquiry-based approach that encourages students to explore history, geography, civics, and global issues. The teacher will design engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum and incorporate Christian perspectives where appropriate. A collaborative spirit, creativity, and strong classroom leadership are key to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Political Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching credential (QTS, PGCE, teaching license, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a similar position
- In-depth knowledge of the Social Studies curriculum and best practices
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology into teaching
- High level of spoken and written English fluency
- Enthusiastic about working in a culturally diverse, international Christian school
- Committed to professional development and continuous learning
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to support wider school initiatives
