Job Description:

As a Social Studies Teacher at Beykoz Doga Campus, you will be responsible for teaching social studies subjects, including history and geography, to students. You will create an engaging and dynamic classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and critical thinking. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to the holistic development of students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and engage students in the study of social studies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to learn.
• Utilize educational technologies, including smart boards, to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and activities.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices.
• Engage in extracurricular activities and school events to support the overall school community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Teaching, History Teaching, Geography Teaching, or a related field with pedagogical formation.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience.
• For male candidates, completion of military service or a deferral for at least 2 years.
• Passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in using educational technologies and smart boards.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and innovative in teaching methods.
