This school is based in Abu Dhabi City, United Arab Emirates and is looking for a Tourism and Hospitality Instructor.

To provide high-quality instruction in health and social care, covering areas such as hospital care, home care, clinical care, paramedical care, social care, and nutrition and wellbeing. The instructor will equip students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the health and social care industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in health and social care, aligning with industry standards and educational best practices.
  • Teach and mentor students in various aspects of health and social care, including hospital care, home care, clinical care, paramedical care, social care, and nutrition and wellbeing.
  • Conduct practical sessions that provide hands-on experience in different health and social care settings.
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in health and social care and integrate them into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to enhance the educational experience and opportunities for students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance instructional skills and industry knowledge.
Job Specification:
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in health and social care.
  • At least 2 years of teaching or training experience with qualifications delivery in a relevant field.

 

Education / Certifications:
  • Diploma or University degree in Educational Pedagogy, Health and Social Care, or related fields.

 

Technical Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in various health and social care settings, including hospital care, home care, clinical care, paramedical care, social care, and nutrition and wellbeing.
  • Proficiency in using educational technologies effectively in a teaching environment.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
  • Innovative and able to integrate new teaching methods and technologies.

 

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in delivering practical training and hands-on care techniques.
  • Ability to teach and mentor students in a supportive and engaging manner.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and industry professionals.
