Role Overview: Spanish Teacher
As a Spanish Teacher, you will teach across various age groups, delivering engaging language instruction that supports fluency, cultural appreciation, and critical thinking. Your role will involve fostering enthusiasm for the Spanish language while helping students meet high academic expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish following the British or international curriculum
- Design creative, interactive lessons that encourage language acquisition
- Differentiate instruction to support varying student proficiency levels
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives
- Support school life through clubs, cultural events, and language activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Familiarity with British or international curricula
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Fluent in English; native or near-native Spanish proficiency preferred
- Commitment to collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
