Role Overview
As a Spanish Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote fluency, comprehension, and cultural appreciation among students. You will play a key role in developing the Spanish language program, integrating modern teaching strategies, and encouraging students to explore the rich history and diversity of Spanish-speaking cultures.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic Spanish language lessons aligned with the Cambridge and IB frameworks
- Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through interactive learning
- Use a variety of assessment tools to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Integrate technology and innovative resources to enhance student engagement
- Participate in school events, professional development, and language enrichment programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen cross-curricular connections
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (QTS, PGCE, or similar)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in an international or bilingual school
- Strong command of the Spanish language and familiarity with international curricula
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to professional growth and a passion for inspiring learners
