About New Day Learning
New Day Learning & Therapy Clinic is a dedicated special education and therapy center based in Bangkok, Thailand. The clinic provides full-day, individualized programs for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Down Syndrome. NDL integrates therapy services with a UK Curriculum adapted to suit the unique needs of each student.
With a strong focus on developing communication, independence, and lifelong learning, New Day Learning offers tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) designed in collaboration with families, therapists, and educators. The clinic’s multidisciplinary approach ensures that each student receives the support they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Role: Special Education Teacher
As a Special Education Teacher at NDL, you will design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with students’ individual learning goals. You will implement evidence-based strategies, support life skills development, and monitor student progress through ongoing assessments. Collaboration with therapists, teaching assistants, and families plays a key role in your daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a special education or inclusive classroom setting
- In-depth knowledge of developmental disabilities, behavior management, and differentiated instruction
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to use educational technology to support learning
- Passion for inclusive education and student-centered teaching
