Specialist ICT Teacher – Knewton Global Schools, Malaysia

Role Overview: ICT Teacher
As a Specialist ICT Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate ICT lessons to students across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary levels
- Teach coding, computational thinking, digital literacy, and responsible use of technology
- Design a technology-integrated curriculum aligned with the British National Curriculum and relevant international standards
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through technology projects
- Guide students in safe and ethical online behavior
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular use of technology in the classroom
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a closely related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of ICT teaching experience, ideally with exposure to KS3 and IGCSE
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Confidence in teaching across a broad age range, including Early Years
- Passion for integrating digital tools into teaching and learning
- Fluency in spoken and written English
