This school is based in Dubai, UAE and is looking for a Lady Swim Coach.

Position Overview: Sunmarke School is seeking a passionate and experienced Lady Swim Coach to join our Physical Education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and developing the swimming skills of female students, ensuring they reach their full potential in the sport. The Lady Swim Coach will create and implement training programs, supervise swimming sessions, and promote water safety and a love for swimming among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions and swim meets for female students.
• Develop individualized training programs to improve students’ swimming techniques, endurance, and overall performance.
• Provide feedback and coaching to students, focusing on technique, form, and fitness.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during swimming sessions, adhering to school policies and procedures.
• Promote water safety and swimming as a lifelong skill.
• Coordinate with the PE department to integrate swimming into the overall physical education curriculum.
• Maintain records of students’ progress and achievements.
• Organize and participate in swim meets, competitions, and other events.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding schedules, expectations, and progress.
• Stay updated with the latest swimming techniques, training methods, and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification in swimming coaching from a recognized organization.
• Previous experience coaching swimming at the school or club level.
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive sports environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in an international school setting.
• Knowledge of competitive swimming rules and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and PE staff.
