Role: Teacher of Maths
The Teacher of Maths will deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons, fostering a love for the subject while helping students develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics to secondary students, following the British curriculum
- Develop and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans
- Use innovative teaching strategies to maximize student learning and achievement
- Support students in GCSE and A-Level Mathematics, helping them reach their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance STEM education within the school
- Participate in co-curricular activities to enrich the student learning experience
- Maintain high expectations for student behavior, engagement, and academic performance
Qualifications & Experience:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license (UK or internationally recognized equivalent)
- At least three years of relevant teaching experience (required for obtaining a work permit in Oman)
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
- A positive and engaging teaching approach with a passion for inspiring students
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
