Position: Physics Teacher (IGCSE and IAS/IAL)
We are seeking an experienced Physics teacher to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and IAS/IAL Physics syllabus. You will create a stimulating classroom environment where students can develop a deep understanding of physical sciences, analytical thinking, and practical laboratory skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons for IGCSE and A-Level students
- Design engaging experiments and practical demonstrations
- Monitor and assess student performance using Cambridge standards
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
- Participate in co-curricular activities and whole-school events
- Encourage independent thinking and academic curiosity
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related field
- Recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary or post-secondary level
- In-depth understanding of Cambridge IGCSE and IAS/IAL Physics curricula and assessments
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Fluency in spoken and written English
