This school is based in Saanen, Switzerland and is looking for a JFK Swiss Outdoor Camp Activity Assistant.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Camp Activity Assistant & Boarding Assistant who shares our passion for outdoor education. The selected candidate will work closely with our Camp Manager and seasoned guides, contributing to the execution and enhancement of our dynamic outdoor learning day/boarding programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist guides in organizing and conducting outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, rock climbing, and team-building exercises.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of campers during all activities, adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure dietary needs and preferences of campers are met, maintaining a healthy and balanced meal plan.
• Engage with campers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Support other camp operations as required, including equipment maintenance, administrative tasks, and logistics coordination.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a camp or outdoor education setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with campers and colleagues alike.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment.
