Role Overview: Visual Arts Teacher (IB MYP/DP)
As a Visual Arts Teacher, you will lead engaging, concept-driven lessons in alignment with the IB MYP and DP frameworks. Your role includes guiding students through creative processes, supporting portfolio development, and preparing them for exhibitions and assessments. You will collaborate with colleagues to enhance the arts curriculum and contribute to cross-disciplinary learning experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Visual Arts or Art Education
- Valid teaching license or recognized certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching visual arts, preferably in an IB environment
- Solid understanding of the MYP and DP visual arts frameworks
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Tech-savvy and capable of integrating digital tools into art instruction
- Passion for fostering creativity, critical thinking, and student growth
