Role Overview
The Year 2 Homeroom Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum. You will create a positive, respectful classroom culture and collaborate closely with parents and staff to ensure each child’s success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Native English speaker
- Proven experience teaching primary years, especially Year 2
- Strong understanding of the Australian curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Technologically proficient and eager to integrate digital tools into teaching
- Self-driven, innovative, and committed to professional development
- Skilled in building meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and families
