Role Overview
The Year 3 Homeroom Teacher will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum. You will support students’ academic progress in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning, while promoting social-emotional development. Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues will be central to your role. You will also contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities that enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Native English speaker
- Proven experience teaching primary years, ideally Year 3
- Strong understanding of the Australian curriculum
- Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
- Proficient with educational technology and digital tools
- Passionate, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
- Skilled in building strong relationships within the school community
